Woke up at 3am to send Joanne to the airport. Thanks to June who offered us a ride. We met up with the rest (Jack, THuat, Cheeyeong, Cheemeng, Linda, Jeff, June, Felix etc) for brekkie at McDonalds. Not long later, it was time for the girls to be swarmed by families, friends, "fans", sponsors & media. Jack made a banner especially for Joanne and her 100++ strong ensemble shouted cheers for her as she crossed into the departure gate. Reckon that must have caused some jealousy from her other teammates' fans. Whatever :P
After the send-off, HH & Joyce accompanied me for my long walk. June alighted us at NSRCC and we headed towards the beaches of ECP > Tanjong Rhu > Sheares Bridge > F1 pitstop > Esplanade > the 3 Quays. Midway, we stopped by the Singapore Flyer for some pictures. We had great fun jumping about & posing for the 1/2 hour break!

As we continued, it started to rain heavily at Kim Seng Promenade. We sought shelter at Great World City & ended at Redhill MRT (our intended endpoint) when the rain reduced to a drizzle.
I was really sleepy after showering but forced myself to stay awake to do some stuff. I looked out of my window and was enchanted by the orange sky amidst the concrete constructions. Grabbed my cam and took a pic. When i took my eyes off the lens, i spotted a rainbow. Guess my excitement! There's always this "happiness" feeling when i see a rainbow. It's like smtg good is going to happen :) I continue to pray for the girls' safety at Everest.
